In Alveringem, Belgium, goat farmers Frederik and Iris are building for the future with a brand-new goat farm designed to accommodate 1,100 dairy goats. The innovative barn concept combines a light-transmitting film greenhouse with a sleek, insulated rear building. Commissioned by HEUVEL-FOLIE-SERRES, WNL Horti Insulation supplied the insulated roof and wall cladding for this remarkable project.
Successful collaboration with HEUVEL-FOLIE-SERRES
As a specialist in film greenhouses and modern agricultural structures, HEUVEL-FOLIE-SERRES once again chose WNL Horti Insulation to supply the sandwich panels and roofing components. Thanks to this collaboration, the goat farm has been equipped with a durable and optimally insulated building envelope.
- Roofing: SAB trapezoidal roof elements (type D130) for an exceptionally strong and watertight roof construction.
- Wall cladding: SAB wall panels with concealed fixings (60 mm thick) for a sleek, well-insulated façade.
- Aesthetic finish: Finished in the stylish Anthracite colour (RAL 7016).
Functional design for climate control and water management
The materials supplied by WNL play an essential role in the smart design developed by HEUVEL-FOLIE-SERRES. The 60 mm concealed-fix wall panels help maintain a stable temperature while providing a clean, screw-free appearance. Meanwhile, the strategic positioning of the access doors helps prevent draughts inside the barn.
We would like to thank HEUVEL-FOLIE-SERRES for this assignment. It is great to see how the expertise of the different parties involved has come together so successfully in this impressive project.
